User Types and Access Levels
1. Students (1st to 3rd Year)
Available Features:
- Search thesis projects using keywords, titles, or year
- View approved and published thesis projects
- Download allowed thesis content as per system permissions
2. Fourth Year Students
All features available to regular students, plus:
- Submit thesis projects for review
- Track submission status
- Receive feedback from administrators
- View submission history
3. Professors (Computer Studies Department)
Available Features:
- Access all published thesis projects
- View analytics and reports for thesis projects
- Add comments and feedback on submissions
- Search features
- Export thesis data including full documents and system files for academic purposes
4. Department Head (CSD)
All features available to professors, plus:
- Generate department-wide reports
- View submission statistics
- Access administrative dashboard
- Manage professor accounts
- Content moderation
How to Use the System
For Students (1st to 3rd Year)
Searching for Thesis Projects:
- Log in using your university credentials
- Use the search bar on the homepage
- Apply filters for specific years, topics, or authors
- Click on results to view details
Viewing Projects:
- Select a thesis from search results
- Navigate through different sections using the content menu
- Use the document viewer for full-text access
- Download allowed sections as PDFs
For 4th Year Students
Submitting Your Thesis:
- Click "Submit New Project" from your dashboard
- Fill in all required metadata fields
- Upload your documents in the specified format
- Review submission details
- Submit for approval
